Mrs. Patsy Lou Sexton Webb, age 79, of Brilliant, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1947 in Brilliant, Alabama to William Austin and Lena Miles Sexton. Patsy was a 1964 graduate of Brilliant High School where she was valedictorian of her class. She was a faithful member of Brilliant Freewill Baptist Church for many years. Patsy spent much of her life as a devoted homemaker, caring for her family.

Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Webb; her parents, William Austin and Lena Sexton; brothers, Erskine and Adair Sexton; and sister, Annette Kimbrough.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughters, Myra Lynn Webb and Mary Smith (Shannon); her grandson, Declan Smith; her sister, Hazel Sexton Markham; her brother, William “Bill” Sexton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

The family of Mrs. Webb would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Northwest Hospice, especially Consetta, Alex, Ashley, and Luke, for the compassionate care and kindness they provided to their mother. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Lori Colley for her kindness, support, and for being there during their time of need.

Funeral services for Mrs. Webb will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Brilliant Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
