Mary Sue Westbrook, age 82, of Mt. Olive, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Diversicare Nursing Facility. She was born in Mulga, Alabama on November28, 1943 to Vandiver Westbrook and Kathleen White Westbrook Daniel. Sue was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by her special cousin, Judy Dickson; her niece, Lauren Barrett; her great nephew, Elias Barrett; and a host of other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vandiver Westbrook and Kathleen Daniel; her sister, Terrie Barrett; and her nephew, Matthew Barrett.

Miss Westbrook’s family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Grigg’s Place Cemetery.
