Janet Lee Sprinkle, age 68, of Brilliant passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in the North Mississippi Health Services-South Marion. Janet was born on July 17, 1958, to John Frank Jr. and Vesta Louise Johnson Miles. She spent most of her childhood in Texas before moving to Alabama where she met the love of her life, Randle. The couple returned to Texas, where they were married, and lived there for several years before eventually making their home in Alabama. Janet devoted her life to caring for her family as a loving homemaker. She had a servant’s heart and was always putting the needs of others before her own. She was an exceptional cook who found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. She also enjoyed fishing, but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family.

Mrs. Sprinkle is survived by her husband, Randle Sprinkle; her children, Randal Miles, Jennifer Sprinkle (Chris), Shane Sprinkle (Gail), Kevin Sprinkle, and Steven Sprinkle (Kim); 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her brothers, Tommy and Timmy Miles; her sister, Lillie Sipes; special family friend, Tammy Gosa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sprinkle was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Michael Sprinkle; her brothers, Leroy Miles, Larry Miles, Jackie Miles, Robert Miles, and Bill Johnson; and her sisters, Opal Dean and Brenda Alonzo.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sprinkle will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Tidwell Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
