Mrs. Lisa Weeks Williams, age 67, of Guin, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her residence. Lisa was born on September 9, 1958, in Guin, Alabama, to the late William Hubert and Martha Lou Pridmore Weeks. She was a lifelong resident of Guin and a member of Guin Methodist Church. Lisa was a 1977 graduate of Marion County High School and furthered her education at Bevill State Community College, where she earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Lisa began her nursing career with Dr. Bates in Hamilton and later was employed in the emergency room at North Mississippi Medical Center. She also devoted time to caring for others at Sunset Manor Nursing Facility as well as Marion County Correctional Facility. Over her 23 years as a nurse, she especially enjoyed her work in the emergency room. Outside of work, Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved nothing more than watching her grandchildren play sports. She was an avid Alabama fan, and she enjoyed loving and caring for her beloved dogs, Gemma Rose and Tua.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Scotty Williams; her children, Jason Carr (Nathan), Shelley Bell (Brandon), Holly Adkins (Josh); stepson, Shannon Wood (Kara); grandchildren, Kiptyn Adkins, Kynsley Adkins, Harper Bell, and William Bell; step grandchildren, Stella Wood and Scarlett Wood; siblings, Lorrie Franks (Michael) and Lawanna McCullough (David); 4 nephews and 3 nieces, and a host of other extended relatives.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, Jared Scott Williams; and her parents.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Guin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
