Mr. Jimmy Lewis Weeks, age 93, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Mr. Weeks was born on August 7, 1932, in Fayette, Alabama, to Leamon and Fannie Estes Weeks. He was a graduate of Winfield High School and later attended Florence State College, where he earned a degree in business. He proudly served his country for a time in the United States National Guard and was a member of the Winfield Lions Club. Mr. Weeks was a longtime member of Winfield First Baptist Church. He was employed with Texaco for more than 30 years, where he worked as an operations manager until his retirement. In his spare time, Jimmy enjoyed doing yard work, restoring old cars and furniture, and doing carpentry work.

Mr. Weeks is survived by his children, Steve Weeks and Debbie Keller (Steve); his grandchildren, Rebekah Phinney (David), Sarah Clark (Brandon), and Rachel Keller; great-grandchildren, Lux and Nile Phinney, and Ella and Arlo Clark; and a host of other extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maxine Weeks.

Funeral services for Mr. Weeks will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Winfield First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time at the church.
