Miss Jettie Ruth Spiller, age 90, of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Diversicare Nursing Facility. Miss Spiller was born on March 2, 1935, in Marion County, Alabama, to Hollie Bell Spiller and Allie Ruth Duncan Spiller. In her younger years, she found great joy in gardening and caring for flowers. She had a deep love for animals, and in more recent years, she enjoyed expressing herself through artwork. Her quiet creativity and gentle spirit were a source of comfort to those who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Seals; her sister-in-law, Linda Spiller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hollie Wayne Spiller, and her sister, Shirley June Wates.

A private family service for Miss Spiller will be held at a later date.
