Kimberly Ann Pruitt, age 50, of Guin, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at DCH Medical Center. Kimberly was born on August 7, 1975, in Winfield, Alabama, to Alvin and Ann Bates Sanderson. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Guin and had a deep love for Jesus and for attending church. Kimberly was a 1994 graduate of Marion County High School and later attended Bevill State Community College. Much of Kimberly’s life was devoted to being stay-at-home mother, caring for and raising her children. As her children grew older, she followed her passion for helping others and became a teacher with Head Start in Alberta, where she served for the past five years. Kimberly enjoyed shopping—especially for clothes and jewelry—and always had an eye for something special. She had a natural sense of adventure, loving to travel, explore, and simply ride around taking in the beauty of the world around her.

Kimberly is survived by her children, Cecely Sanderson and Andrew Wallace, her grandson, Carmelo Spears, her sister, Debbie Stinnett, her brother, Todd Sanderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Pruitt, her parents, Al and Ann Sanderson, and brother Delarn Sanderson.

A private family graveside service for Mrs. Pruitt will be held in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
