Mrs. Peggy Carole Norris Weeks, age 81, of Winfield passed away on Friday July 19, 2024 in the Fayette Medical Center. Mrs. Weeks was born in Brilliant, Alabama on November 2, 1942 to Cleo and Irene Caudle Norris. Peggy was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ. She was a 1961 graduate of Winfield High School and later attended Ailene Christian College. Peggy was employed as a bookkeeper for T.E. Lott Company in Columbus, Mississippi until her retirement. In her spare time Peggy enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with family.

Mrs. Weeks is survived by her son, Wyatt Weeks (Leslie), grandchildren, Kasey Weeks and Taylor Weeks, great grandchildren, Audrey and Carter Baker, and Ava Weeks, brother, Ron Norris (Zokie), nephew, Ron Norris Jr., (Michelle), niece, Cindy Reed, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by son, Joseph Guy Weeks, and half-sister, Lawanna Caudle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Norris will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
