Legend Deante Barnes, infant son of Jared and Laken Tidwell Barnes passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Walker Baptist Medical Center.

In addition to his parents, Legend is survived by his sister, Avery Kate Butler, grandparents, Bob and Ruthann Tidwell, Bobby and Becky Barnes, Evelyn Elliott and Willie Barnes, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

Legend was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rhonda Tidwell Barnes.

A graveside service for Legend will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Kelley Cemetery near Eldridge.
