Mrs. Sonia Falgoust

Mrs. Sonia Gail Kizzire Falgoust, age 74 of Fayette, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at her daughters residence in Winfield.  Mrs. Falgoust was a 1957 graduate of Fayette high school, she was  preceded in death by husband Barry Falgoust and 2 sisters, Daris Brown and Jerri Shelton.  She is survived by her children, David Trull of Gulf Shores, Tammy Box (Phil) of Winfield, Jeff Trull of Fayette, and Bill May of Pace, FL, grandchildren, Alesha Dodd (Kip) of Winfield, Phillip Box of Auburn, William Box of Winfield, Adam Trull of Mexico, MO, Kaleb Trull and Chloe Trull of Gulf Shores, great grandchildren, Bailey, Landon & Lawson Dodd, and Kaitlyn Trull and 2 sisters, Bonnie Dudley of Fayette and Judi Roberson of Alabaster.  Mrs. Falgoust family will hold a private memorial service to honor her memory at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Alabama or to the American Lung Association. 

Mrs. Eula Holt Logan

Mrs. Eula Holt Logan, age 94 of the White House community near Brilliant, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.  Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by her parents, Austin F. and Anna Ingle Holt, and a brother, Eugene Holt.  She is survived by her husband of 79 years, Walter B. Logan of Brilliant, 2 sons, Carl Logan (Lajuana) of Vestavia Hills, and Calvin Logan (Joan) of Brilliant, grandchildren, Jennifer Sartin (Scott) of Brilliant, Timothy Logan of Brilliant, Miranda Lovett (Aaron "George") of Hamilton, Blake Logan and Hunter Logan of Vestavia Hills, sisters, Florette Tyler of Richmond, VA, and Myrtle Self of Brilliant, and a brother, Ethan Holt of College Station, TX. Funeral Services are set for 1:00 pm Saturday, Oct. 12, from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Goldmine Cemetery.  visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm service time on Saturday at the funeral home.  Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield directing. 



Mr. William Delarn Sanderson

Mr. William Delarn Sanderson, age 48 of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his residence.  Mr. Sanderson was preceded in death by his parents, William Alvin and Agnes Bates Sanderson.  He is survived by his wife, Jan Sanderson, 3 children, Nicholas (Jody) Sanderson of Haleyville, Kayla Sanderson, and Justin Sanderson,both of Guin, step-children, Sammy Lawrence of Muscle Shoals and Alexis Baker of Winfield, grandchildren, Serenity Cantrell and Brantley Cantrell of Guin and Kylie Sanderson of Haleyville, 2 sisters, Debbie Stinnett of Guin, and Kim Pruitt of Fayette, and a brother, Todd Sanderson of Guin.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 7, 2013 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.  Rev. Mark Maddox will be the officiating minister.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Bowen Funeral home of Winfield directing. 

Mrs. Martha L. Howell Jamerson

Mrs. Martha L. Howell Jamerson, age 76 of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, Ocotober 9, 2013 at her residence.  Mrs. Jamerson was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Irene Tucker Howell, husband, J.B. Jamerson, and a son, Joey Jamerson.  She is survived by a daughter, Janice Hallmark (Chris) of Ocala, FL, a son, Ryan Jamerson of Northport, grandchildren, Chad Hallmark (Kelli) of Orlando, FL, Courtney Gage (Gary) of Oxford, FL, Hunter Jamerson (Jenny) of Winfield, Rylee Kate Jamerson and Curt Jamerson of Northport, 3 great grandchildren, Lexi, Hadley, Emarie, 3 brothers, Bud Howell (Wilma), Larry Howell (Linda), and Phillip Howell (Dana), all of Winfield, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Whites Chapel Cemetery near Hubbertville.  Wendell Fikes and Mark Howell officiating. Visitation will be held form 10:00 a.m. unitl 11:00 am (service time) on Friday at the funeral home.      

Mrs. Cary Lois Malone

Mrs. Cary Lois Bostick Malone, age 83 of Northport, formerly of Brilliant, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Hunter Creek Health and Rehab facility in Northport.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary and Selma Bostick, brother, James Cary Bostick, aunts, Margaret Bolling, Sue Long, and Mae Drew, and one uncle Claude Johnson. Mrs. Malone is survived by her son, Thomas Cary Malone of Tuscaloosa, daughter, Regina Poole (Walter) of Northport, nieces, Nancy Isbell of Centerpoint, Teresa Aderholt of Birmingham, nephew, James Cary Bostick of Birmingham, cousins, Anthony James Isbell, and Abby Aderholt of Birmingham.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30th, from the Brilliant Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to helping the developmentally disabled or to Disabled Veterans associations.  Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield directing.
