Mrs. Willette Caudle McGuire, age 101 of Brilliant, passed away on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mrs. McGuire was a 1932 graduate of Brilliant High School and a longtime member of Gold Mine Church of Christ. Mrs. McGuire loved her family, church family, and learning more about everything. She was very well known for her poetry and storytelling; she loved to study genealogy and outdoor living and learning. She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin E. and Frances Ingle Caudle, her husband, Bradley C. McGuire, sons, Paul James “Jim” , Bradley Jr., and John Ray McGuire, a granddaughter, Tammy Caldwell, great grandson, Reese Davis , brother, Keller Caudle a sister, Irene Norris, son-in-law, Charles Davis, and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn McGuire. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ann Davis of Brilliant, sons, Richard McGuire of Brilliant, and Pete (Elaine) McGuire of Amarillo, TX, sisters, Marie Gordon of Huffman, TX, Mary Nell Rawls of Brilliant, and Fay Dodd of Brilliant, grandchildren, Mark (Stephanie) McGuire of CA, Alan (Karla) McGuire of LA, Doug McGuire of CA, Janet (John) Clement of FL, David McGuire of Birmingham, Kim (Creed) White of Birmingham, Chuck Davis of Helena and Matt Davis of Birmingham, great grandchildren, Brandon, Josh, Faith, Grace, Sean, Jameson, Missy, Mac, Douglas, Kathryn, Jordan, Jameson, Jamie, Cameron, Meagan, Morgan, Brandon and Kaitlyn, great great grandchildren, Johnathan, Zackary, Penelope, Madilyn, and Anna. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Jerry Self and Drew Manley will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (service time) on Tuesday at the funeral home.
