Mr. Clarence A. McCaleb, age 87 of Winfield, passed away on January 2, 2014 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mr. McCaleb was a 1946 graduate of Hubbertville High School, a member and Elder of Berea Church of Christ for many years, and was owner/operator of McCaleb Tool Supply in Winfield for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Vaughn and Edril Hubbert McCaleb, and a sister Eloise Haas. Clarence is survived by his wife, Virginia Duke McCaleb, daughters, Beth M. Jordan (James) of Killen, AL, Kim M. Rowell (Greg) of Atlanta, GA, and Lisa M. Weeks (Wade) of Tampa, FL, a son, Scott McCaleb of Winfield, grandchildren, Kevin Rowell, Katie Rowell, Chris Rowell, Justin Jordan, Lindsay Jordan, Aaron McCaleb, Seth McCaleb, Paislee' McCaleb, Caleb Weeks and Elliot Weeks, great grandchildren, Rowan, Anelise, Emersyn, Preston, and Nolan, brothers, Hubbert Steven McCaleb of Hubbertville, and W.V. "Bill" McCaleb of Jasper. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Berea Church of Christ with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Jimmy McNees will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time on Sunday at the church. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the McCaleb family.
